ISO 9001:2015 Certificate - Quality Management System Standard
In the year 2007, Monex Grupo Financiero obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
In 2010, we obtained recertification for ISO 9001:2008, and in 2019, we were recertified in its curren version, ISO 9001:2015.
For 19 years, we have been revalidating our certification and have always stayed at the forefront by updating our Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards that include the following scope:
“Prevention, detection, and reporting of transactions involving illicit funds, along with comprehensive risk management for all domestic and international financial products across the group.”
The certificate is issued by the DNV certifying authority and is backed by RvA (Dutch) international accreditation.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certificate - Information Security Management System Standard
In 2011, Monex Grupo Financiero obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification. In 2014 we achieved recertification in ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and in 2024 our certification was ratified with the transition to the new version ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
For 15 years, we have been revalidating our certification and have always stayed at the forefront by updating our Security Management System in accordance with ISO 27001 standards that include the following scope:
“Protection of confidentiality, integrity and availability of Grupo Financiero Monex client information in its IT systems“
The certificate is issued by the DNV certifying authority and is backed by the UKAS (English) international accreditation.

Fitch Affirms Banco Monex’s BB+ Rating with Stable Outlook, Upgrades National Outlook to Positive.
Fitch Ratings has affirmed Banco Monex, S.A., Institucion de Banca Multiple, Monex Grupo Financiero's (Banco Monex) Long- and Short-Term Foreign and Local Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) at 'BB+' and 'B', respectively, Viability Rating (VR) at 'bb+', and Government Support Rating (GSR) at 'no support' (ns). The Rating Outlooks for the Long-Term IDRs are Stable.
Additionally, Fitch has upgraded the Long-Term National Scale ratings for Banco Monex, Monex Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V., Monex Grupo Financiero (Monex CB) and Monex Sociedad Anonima Promotora de Inversion de Capital Variable (Monex SAPI) to 'AA(mex)' from 'AA-(mex)'. The Rating Outlooks for the Long-Term National ratings are Stable. The Short-Term National Scale ratings for all these entities were affirmed at 'F1+(mex)'.

On October 14, 2024, HR Ratings increased the ratings of the following entities.
- Monex SAPI Rating: HR AA with Stable Outlook and HR1
- Banco Monex Rating: HR AA+ with Stable Outlook and HR1
- Monex Casa de Bolsa Rating: HR AA+ with Stable Outlook and HR1
