In the year 2007, Monex Grupo Financiero obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
In the year 2010, we obtained the recertification as ISO 9001:2008 and, in 2019, we were recertified ourselves in its curren version ISO 9001:2015.
For 18 years, we have been revalidating our certification and have always stayed at the forefront by updating our Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards that include the following scope:
“Antimoney laundering, antiterrorism financing and integrated risk management processes for all financial products and services”
The certificate is issued by the DNV certifying authority and is backed by the following international accreditation: UKAS (English) and RvA (Dutch).
In 2011, Monex Grupo Financiero obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification. In 2014 we achieved recertification in ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and in 2024 our certification was ratified with the transition to the new version ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
For 13 years, we have been revalidating our certification and have always stayed at the forefront by updating our Security Management System in accordance with ISO 27001 standards that include the following scope:
“Protection of confidentiality, integrity and availability of Grupo Financiero Monex client information in its IT systems“
The certificate is issued by the DNV certifying authority and is backed by the UKAS (English) international accreditation.
Fitch Ratings - Monterrey - 12 Sep 2023: Fitch Ratings has affirmed Banco Monex, S.A., Institucion de Banca Multiple, Grupo Financiero Monex's (Banco Monex) Long- and Short-Term Foreign and Local Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) at 'BB+' and 'B', respectively, its Viability Rating (VR) at 'bb+', and its Government Support Rating (GSR) at 'no support' (ns). The Rating Outlooks for the LT IDRs are Stable.
At the same time, Fitch has revised the Rating Outlook for the Long-Term National Ratings to Positive from Stable of Banco Monex, Monex Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V., Grupo Financiero Monex (Monex CB) and Monex, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (Monex) and affirmed the Long- and Short-Term National Scale ratings at 'AA-(mex)'/'F1+(mex)'.

As it is widely known, the Great Place to Work Institute bases its study on 5 values: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and a Friendly Atmosphere. The survey is applied in 34 countries.
As we have mentioned in previous years, this acknowledgment strengthens our commitment to jointly collaborate to make Monex a better place to work.
For the Fifteenth consecutive year, Monex was named a Socially Responsible Company by the Mexican Philanthropy Center (CEMEFI, for its acronym in Spanish) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico (AliaRSE), organisms who grant this acknowledgment to companies who satisfactory meet the criteria set in four different areas: Living Standards within the Company, Corporate Ethics, Community Involvement, and Environmental Care and Preservation.
Likewise, Monex maintains its social commitment by allocating at least 1% of its profit before taxes to investing in social causes.
For us at Monex , Corporate Social Responsibility is a valuable strategy that allows us to achieve our business goals, while positively impacting the groups we come in contact with: collaborators, clients, vendors, shareholders, authorities, the community and the environment.
In 2015 the CDMX Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Obesity Prevention Council and the Health and Wellbeing Corporate Council gave Monex an award for being a Healthfully Responsible Organization, for the accomplishment and continuous follow up of specific indicators on prevention, health promotion and wellness culture in the work space.
On August 12th, 2016, Monex Grupo Financiero received an award from the Great Place to Work Institute for being “One of the Best Places to Work in Mexico in terms of Gender Equity”.
Great Place to Work Institute considers companies that score above 70, with a female population higher than 30%, with 20% holding managerial and executive positions; as well as responses from women in discrimination issues and the practices and policies that promote gender equality.

Since 2014, the Department of Labor and Social Security granted the Family Responsible certification to our head office and 18 branch offices, resulting from our good labor practices in terms of work and family life conciliation, gender equality and opportunity fairness, as well as prevention and combat of labor violence and sexual harassment.
With such certification, Monex reaffirms its commitment to the wellbeing of our collaborators, with the purpose of having a space where the values of respect for the dignity of others and labor rights prevails.

In addition, Monex Casa de Bolsa is among the companies that reported the highest percentage growth in sales.
The ranking assesses companies that offer goods and services and that report revenue or sales; the purpose of this list is to offer a general view of the main Mexican companies considering several indicators.
In the year 2005, Monex decided to voluntarily and decisively form part of the United Nation’s Global Compact initiative, whose ten fundamental principles address human rights, labor regulations, environment protection and the fight against corruption.
